The problem I have with many breast tutorials is that, while yes, there is a slight inward curve(middle picture) that not all breasts look alike and there are occasionally breasts that stick out some towards the sides. The kind of breast he's describing is most often seen on skinnier girls, and the breasts rightmost in the middle picture aren't exactly uncommon. The "circle-y" breasts you see in the top picture are more rare than most other shapes, but not totally uncommon when a too-small bra is used (if you're adding clothing here), a pushup bra is used, in certain types of corsets, or if there's implants involved.

Thanks to the internet and human sexuality, there's tons of different resources to look at boobs. Not all tits look alike. Melons change due to weight, age, shape, and sagginess. Common sense is a friend. The bigger your breasts, the older you are, and the more weighted downward they are, you'll experience more sagging. As you get older, your flippity floppities look less "full" and tend to look more flat.

If this tutorial is 100% relevant to you, then you need to think about drawing more diverse females. Drawing the same thing over and over is good for reinforcement. Bad for learning.

The problem comes from understanding the logic behind breasts. Just looking at a few online photos really doesn't help. You have to take them, break them down, learn them, then put them back together. I always find this difficult and there's very little relevant art info on it, especially if you decide to exaggerate them. Even anatomy classes don't do much good on the subject. Normal size breasts have never been a problem for me, probably due to me seeing do many reference photos and just learning how they should look in accordance to what the body is doing, but whenever I decide to exaggerate them I always find myself having to look at various doujins, study how they draw it, but never completely understand the logic behind it.
