Inspires as in, you take aspects of his work to incorporate in your own , or you just like the artist.
For the second one the answer is the usual suspects, Almost all the old masters , Rembrandt,Michelangelo,Veroneese,Sargent.Golden age illustrators Leyendecker, Rockwell ,Frazetta. etc. etc. Incorporating-wise, none of them.

I think the answers would be more interesting if you focused more on the artist that made a big impact on you, or one that somehow affected your work in a way.

they're not not good they're just not particularly good.

painting is okay. they're organised a bit like perfume ads, so nothing special there, subject is just sexy girls.

i can't see what's so special basically, i was thinking it might be something outside of the paintings themselves, or there's something interested about the way they're painted or something. that's why i asked.

What i appreciate in this artist is not the subject or the composition, it's more about his brushstrokes and the way how the picture looks "wet" , i understand that he is not as good as the others but i wouldn't say he is bad.

>> No.1668058 [DELETED]

>>1668042
The real question is, why are you so afraid of just using the word "good" without anything attached to it? Do you think it makes you somewhat of a lesser artist if you can appreciate skill in good work despite knowing of work that is better than that?

People like you are annoying as shit to deal with because you constalty try to start arguments where none should be had. Someone posted good, solid work because it inspired THEM. No one said it's mindblowingly amazing and special, but you, in your inferiority complex-ridden mind, have to imagine that they did, just so you can act like the elitist wannabe you are.

i'd much rather live here where i can go to art school for $2000 a year while getting paid $12,000 a year in government support. where there's tons of jobs and no mexicans. our internet goes a little bit slower though, my ping in 180 in league of legends.

i find it so annoying that americans can continue to think they're in 'da best country in the world' when they're getting so screwed.

i suppose it's the same problem i have with religious people. insisting that their irrational, almost delusional view of the world is right, and on top of that wielding immense power and influence.

IMO America may be reaching a "secular tipping point", similar to what recently happened in Ireland of all places. The pockets of fruity fundamentalism found in less urban areas stemming from the likes of charlatans and madmen from the 19th century has kept secularism in check for a while. Now we can let the winds of secularism tickle our neckbeards.
