Looking to buy a drafting table. Do you guys have any recommendations or anything to keep in mind when choosing one?

I bought a glass table thinking I was a rad mother fucker but then I found out that no tape stuck well against it. My logic was that(since i was in animation at the time), I could tape a pegbar to the thing and put a lamp under it to animate, but almost no tape stuck to the glass surface.

I'd advise not getting a glass table.

I use some futura glass table.
Has side pockets to put pencils, cups, erasers, whatever in. Under the table on the left side are 3 small drawers; I usually store my markers, pencils, and charcoal in there. It has a keyboard-like drawer under the table to keep more shit.
It's pretty sturdy too, doesn't shake a lot, glass can hold up to 25lbs from what it says, adjustable angles.

My only complaint is that my T-square is too long to move into the center of the table because there is this bar which holds the paper, preventing it from falling when at high angles.

Overall it's a nifty table, no regrets buying it. I can always get a smaller t-square to solve my issue.

I got this baby, and it's pretty nice except the stool sucks ass. Thinking about getting a nice ergonomic chair to go with it.

Also, don't leave anything hot on the surface because the plastic coating will expand and leave bubbles. I learned that by leaving my laptop on it too long.

Have you tried using glue?

see if you can find an architects one, they're usually pretty balling. I lived with this Woman last year who had one similar to pic related in our house, with an integrated t square slide. Very usefull

I get hemorrhoids a lot and I can't sit down for consecutive hours on end. Can anyone recommend a good chair or something for hemorrhoids?

During the holiday season I bought a drafting table at Michael's for $50, it was on sale and they had a discount coupon that could be combined with sale prices items so it was nearly 75% off. It's not amazing but worth it to have something for that price, I work at an auction and the drafting tables always go for big bucks so I could never win one

Check whether or not you are actually suffering from anal or perianal thrombosis.

If that is the case, a dietary change will help you heaps (for instance, hydration is key, alcohol is bad for circulation).
