the work is heavily inspired by Baudrillard, simulacrum, Althusser, Social Democracy. I am an orthodox marxist, if that helps explain it.

like these

i kind of like these. i feel like there's probably a message in every one of your pieces. would you like to explain perhaps what you were trying to say with each piece? i also like the idea of using digital media to produce non representational fine art. i can't say i've seen it being used quite like this before

I didn't like the first and third, but the others are good.
The thing that bothers me is that you didn't take any photos or make any of the images yourself.

the pieces are about an existence of driving in a mini-van, probaly white, to a strip mall - very simple - but also taking intensely researched (billions of dollars worth) psychiatric medications, zoloft, clonazepam, wellbutrin, but not knowing much about them. But also thinking about how people act and be 'cool'

sort of Raymond Carver X Scientism. which is partly why they look so 'cheap' or 'flat'

I hope that isn't too pretentious.

>>1620220
absolutely, they are 'collage' I guess. But I am currently working on mastering this dslr my mom lent me to remedy this.

if you look at the second piece:
"CATS INBAG BAGS IN RIVER"
was about 7ft tall at MOMA last time I was there, and really made me feel like i could do stuff that might considered 'talking out of ass' even though I really am not
