Let's do a challenge. You've seen those ad that are like "turn yourself into an anime character". Lets do that but vise versa.
Challenge: Fine a anime character you like and make them more human less anime. Simple as that. Don't know any anime? Do a cartoon character.

I remember reading an article that many westerners watching anime thought the characters where white because the big eyes with clear colors and hair of many colors but japanese viewers think the characters are japanese regardless of those characteristics.
The thing is is that japanese comickers don't base their characters around real people.

Large eyes and unrealistic hair colors are typical cartoon conventions. If you want to selectively pick out features, then the lack of prominent brows and softer face contours are very Asian features.

Last one, finished a week ago

First time I feel worried about not being able to make something comparable or even surpass it, The whole thing and particularly its rendering took way too much time.

Btw all of them except the third one are vocaloids (Gumi, Meiko, Naoto from Persona 4 and Rin Kagamine).
