Your lighting is very illogical. What is causing that strange diagonal shadow across her right breast? why is the inside of her mouth so well illuminated?

Your range of values is far too extreme, your brightest value is too drastic a change from your darker values.

The light implies she is lit from the bottom front, but she has a highlight sloping down her shoulder from what appears to be the top. There are slivers of sharp highlights in her hair, on both sides, what is causing these?

Her teeth on the right side seem to be falling out of her mouth or something, they're intersecting the lips. they're also not shaped like molars as they are too flat and narrow.

The space in between her breasts is far, far too dark and travels too far up her chest. The bra cups of whatever she's wearing don't look like they're holding the breasts in place at all, and the angle at which they point is very different from where her actual breasts seem to be positioned. Remember that even when they're supported, a 45 degree angle from the pit of the neck should determine the angle of the breasts.

The way her neck is lit is confusing. If the sternocleidomastoid muscle is closer to use than the hyoid between them, why is the middle of the neck lit so brightly and the sides so dark?

The angle that the sternocleidomastoid muscle travels isn't so straight either. There is also a very intense shadow on her collar bone, how could that be possible with the lighting you've implied?

It's been stated already but her eyes are much too large, and the lashes are too thick and bunched together. The upper region of the orbicularis oris, the muscle on either side of hte philtrum is entirely in shadow, while the indentation of the philtrum is lit even though its further from the light source.

Updated version. Worked on the neck. Added highlights to the straps. Turned the teeth into vampire fangs. The eyes are intentionally big (anime), and the light source is coming from the upper front.

Illustrat, yes, you should really study anatomy. The eyes are very "I'm trying to lose my anime influence," and the colors are not that great. Next time you paint, you should create some color swatches ahead of time.

I am aware I need to work on my anatomy. Honestly, it is not THAT bad but it is in serious need. Glad you understand the frustration with the "color smoothing." I am obviously going for the alla prima impasto look. Whether I achieved that, who knows. I am satisfied. Also, as far as the eyes, that is intentional. I am actually trying to EMBRACE the anime influence. As for colors, they are not that great, but they are not that horrible imo. I normally use palettes from colorlover.com. The pink and black works good though. so does the complementary green and red. Not the best. Not the worst imo. But what do i know. Its my art so I am going to favor it.

Despite your weak semantic argument,mits pretty clear that he meant blending, which you are indeed pretty poor at. Learn to blend the edges of your strokes, the entire painting doesn't need to be smooth and blended but it helps the unblinded areas pop more. The only blending going on right now is when strokes cut into each other and yield muddy colors, which is a result of uncontrolled blending.

Also you still have the problem of floating a face on top of a mass of flat hair, without any solid relation between the two. The hair should be growing out of the head,not sitting behind it.
