Thank you for the suggestion but that site has them in very low quality. Better than nothing I suppose but it's so pixelated you can barely tell were some of the lines are. The only 2 at a decent file size are basic figure drawing and the animal drawing manual.

Sadly I can't provide any thorough tips on how to scan a book but contrary to what people have said, I don't think you will destroy the binding of these books if you scanned them. Since these books are hard cover, their have a different, much more flexible and durable binding than your average paperback book.

As much as it is true that you will destroy the binding of a paperback book if you scan them it, hardcover books- those that you are not afraid to open at more then 90° degrees wont really be that damaged.

Unless you mean a physical copy, most (all?) of his books are on LibGen.
If you’re a turboautist like me, you can download borrowed books of archive.org, then either remove the drm or use a cache viewer for highest quality (LibGen is a much quicker option).

I’m actually doing a .pdf of McCloud’s other book Making Comics from the HD archive.org source right now since the LibGen scan is kinda meh.

Anyone have "Barlowe's Inferno"? Or "Psychopomp" by Wayne Barlowe? The latter is a compilation of the former and some of his other books. I've absolutely scraped the bottom of the barrel of the internet in my search for these. Otherwise, they are hundreds of dollars.
Two years ago in the archives, someone here offered to scan Inferno but there was no interest and therefore no one delivered. It hurts coming so close to it.

I don't think there is significant differences in the material. They say they updated some diagrams/images in it and it went through more copy edits so maybe easier to read. Fundamentally I don't think it's very different but this one is special to me bc signed+drawing. Plus I got to support the god vilppu, he deserves it after all he's done for art
