I operate several hundred Mega accounts of videos and books. I'm going to share a few thoughts on takedown mitigation. This is lengthy, but for those who wish to keep a Mega long term, it's worth your time to do these things.
1. If you use the full url with "https://mega.nz/" at the beginning, then all base64 encodes will begin with the same string, which makes it a trivial matter for bots to scrape and decode. So enter only the portion after "https://mega.nz/" to escape bots. This makes it harder to scrape, and also increases the effort necessary for trolls. If you wish to take it a step further, break up the mega link and key portions.
2. Upload files as passworded rar archives. This increases the effort for trolls to submit notices, the effort for Mega to verify the content, and protects the original files from any future hash-based automated deletions.
3. Share only folder urls. If you spot your folder being posted unencrypted, you can easily use the "remove link" function of Mega to generate a new url for the folder.
4. JDownloader is a download manager that has a feature for creating and encrypted link package called "DLC." It is in essence a proprietary base64 for JDownloader users only. You can share the DLC without ever revealing the actual Mega url to the files. This would be the best way to share files, but requires everyone to use JDownloader. If you don't already have it, Google "JDownloader JAR clean install" as other versions may come with adware.
5. Mega has started deleting accounts where the owner has not logged in after 3 months. If you are managing many free accounts, Google "Megakeep", a script for automated logging in. Run it every month or two.
Since you guys are sharing files on a public forum, no solution will give you 100% protection. You just have to make things enough of a hassle for the trolls and the bots that they can't knock down everything at once.
