A bit heavy on the symmetry tool, but not bad. Boobs look a bit flat. My gut is telling me that she's a bit thin; not weight-wise, but literally too squished together. I think her proportions are a bit smushed. I think her eyes should be a little further apart, for example.
Otherwise quite good. Reminds me of early Dr. Comet and maybe Sabrina, if anyone remembers that old webcomic. Cute face overall. The linework, while not super remarkable, is pleasant enough to look at. Keep it up anon.

For the sun to be casting shadows like that, it would have to be closer to sunset or sunrise, which would effect the color temperature of the ambient light. Right now it looks closer to midday. The shadow depth and relative saturation of colors is also inconsistent, both between objects and with the ambient light. Those things are what are making your colors look weird.

1. Light, as you said. Thinner line art where the light hits and thicker in shadow.
2. Gesture/feel. This is what I was taught about in a class while doing gesture practice was to make the lines heavier where the weight is heaviest. So at the important parts of the gesture (wherever the would have the thickest lines

I usually try and steer people away from Twitter too. It's a cesspit, and it's only going to get worse. They're planning on scraping art for their own AI...project, and the exposure you get almost seems completely random. I've seen fantastic artists who post regularly barely scrape past 1k followers, and shitty artists with over 50k. If you have a gallery set up, I think it should only be for posterity, not numbers-chasing; and if you're not numbers-chasing, then there's no reason to deal with Twitter.

So even though I agree that galleries are still useful, I try not to argue with the whole "Twitter is bad/There is only one way of doing things" kind of argument.

I feel my skills are too weak to have any kind of following. But people seem to really enjoy my work, so I continue to share my drawings when I'm not feeling like a lil bitch.
Twitter has helped me in a positive way. It did find me some small art gigs simply because people like how I drew my bird girl. Twitter can be strange but it isn't all that bad. But then again, I only check twitter like twice a week so maybe it's just my ignorance.
