if the angle of the hips stays the same and the legs never move because they don't have to since the weight is balanced and feet are planted, there's no way to add a sense of motion because there is no motion

Clouds usually have a warmer light and a cooler dark side, the bits in shadow catch some of the blue from the sky around them

I don't know the intentions of the dad you're referring to, but maybe keeping their streak isn't the most important reason for them posting on the site. and even if it were, repeated failure does not necessarily prove future failure. we can talk about probability, but I myself have had serious problems with keeping a drawing schedule in the past and am now page 2 and growing every day. I think there are circumstances where people should give up, particularly if people are doing art for the wrong reason(s). but we don't know that here; I don't at the very least.
