I think you're overreacting. I'm very pretentious when it comes to other form of media but drawing is something that brings out my inner child. I want to make cool concept art of monsters, mechs and why not even some anime tiddies. I want to make art similar to the artists I liked while growing up. And to do that I NEED the skills. Fine art is literally one of the easiest ways to launder money in a historical period where that is a goal for a lot of powerful people. Saying it is ingrained in the fine art communities is not just some random boomer meme.
And as I said I have deep reasons to dislike contemportaty art. I love modern art and the revolutions the 20th century. Because a lot of those artists weren't trying to make some grand statement, their art was a genuine product of the timese they were living in. Just like neo-classicism was deeply connected to the enlightment and romanticism was mirrored by Gothic literature.
And even artists like Manzoni who were trying to make a statement were the first ones to do it. Unfortunately that was forced into becoming the norm and now fine art is just disingenous grand statements and that is forced by a wealthy elite that at best is too self absorbed and at worst trying to profit from it.

I admit i did a bad job on the ear, the reference was a bit difficult for my to break down that element. I will do a better job in the future.

I put them side by side, hopefully you can see where and why i went wrong. It was a minor element of the painting but that's no excuse for poor observational skill i demonstrated with the ear shapes.

I have enough commissions (I turn far more people away than take on) and an audience. I don't think I'd ever want to post my work in here. Why?

Because I'm already filled with enough self doubt about my work and I don't need a bitter and failed artists to make attacks based on style preference disguised as critique or "ranking". Particularly nasty comments can really get under my skin for days sometimes and the doubt stops me from actually working on my commissions as I'm wondering if I just scammed that eager fan of mine by daring to charge as much as I have (I've been told my prices are cheap too).

I'd advise the same of other artists here, why take the hit at your ego like that? No one has to stand behind what they say here and people are weirdly bitter about art for the weirdest reasons. I'd feel awful knowing I'd discouraged a beginner artist.

I've had artists tell me that comments I left them years ago really encouraged them and now they surpass me in followers, be the change you want to see in the world.

In my humble opinion there is no real benefit to adhering to this sort of arbitrary ranking system at least not as described in the OP picture. Mentioning milestones such as "level 3 has a grasp on one or two fundamentals" which is supposed to be superceded by development of personal style. That's not really how art improvement works though , it's not a video game with achievements and unlockables. It reads like it was written by someone who doesn't really draw ever, or maybe it was just a meme. This is bait for artists with superiority and/or inferiority complexes. I would take any rating received here with a grain of salt

Did in one day so, I was rushing while overthinking my process.
Which is the main reason I barely can make finished work.
I don't know if I'm worried about my level of skill or the way I express certain elements in my art.
