As far as using them to draw an actual finished piece... Well, I hoard them with the thought that one day I'll have an idea for a pose and these packs will have the specific reference I'm looking for, but I have so many that even if it did, I wouldn't remember it because they contain thousands of poses and I'll never remember what packs have what poses without sifting through them for a good hour or so. I then just end up using a mirror or a figure to get a quick idea of the reference I'm looking for.

They are good for doing gesture and anatomy practice, though.

also classic asthetic shape theory that guys tend to be drawn broad and angular while females tend to be smoother and curvier. Females are like spheres, males are like boxes. My two cents.

I downloaded like 40GBs of references and I fucking hate that 95% of the poses shot from PoV of a midget and the rest 5% is "hyper angle" shot either from a fucking ceiling or from beneath the floor.
I just want to draw women from average male PoV aka from ~20cm above her head. Are there packs like this? Are cameramen incapable of just lifting their arms a bit?

Regarding the images, use Fileminimizer 3.0 allows you to compress 500 images at the same time, I use that to compress the arttation images without losing quality, in the options you have to check that so as not to lose the quality in the format.

Sketchfab has lots of models that are free to view and rotate in the browser. https://sketchfab.com/search?q=anatomy&type=models You can alt+click to rotate the light, but if you want total control over lighting you would need to download (and potentially purchase) the model and play with it in Blender.
