Hidari's a part-time university lecturer and I actually don't think he's a bad teacher. My issue circles back to Coloso's shit video player combined with my shit wifi. The translations are fine but I wish the subs were more... condensed? Sometimes a sentence will be split across several lines and there'll be several seconds of pauses between them. If your wifi is decent this is a non-issue.

More so the latter. Pic related is a his A/B lighting style that I actually need to rewatch. There are demos that shows how he approaches character design from start to finish. I didn't get to progress much this week due to work but hopefully will finish it up over the weekend.

I think if you're interested, any course can be picked up, especially if it's by one of your top 5 favorite artists.
He essentially goes over how he can design with such consistency and efficiency.
Hidari is well known for having very aesthetically pleasing designs and style

With these longer courses it's usually more about when to decide what to do and how to go about doing it.
When is Hidari done with his initial thumbnails? how good should they be? when is it a good time to think about color? when is it time to do an illustration? what is the right amount of detail for what? when you have a design that is lackluster, how do you solve it or fix it?
