Yes, but not as far as you should be if you were drawing consistently this entire time. Try drawing your character with more realistic proportions, I'm not saying give up on your cartooning style completely because obviously it's what you're striving for, but not doing anatomy studies or drawings from references will keep you from improving.

I would draw a few of these kind of simplified stylized bodies to get a base down then move onto figuring out where muscles go for future drawings.
Trace over them, draw your version next to it, trace over real reference images do the same for them. You just want to learn the shapes right now, boxes and tubes.
That being said there's no reason to limit yourself draw bodies, draw faces, draw nature, whatever, all drawing is good drawing.

It's better to reference real people and try to convert those to anime boys instead of referencing straight from anime. Your proportions are off because by studying straight from anime you amplify and internalize the mistakes the artist may have made. Without knowledge of the human body, you also end up blindly copying lines without understanding why an artist may have made certain decisions. For help with proportions, studying morpho and drawing from life (photos, etc.) is a great start.

Paradoxically, the only way to develop an appealing anime style is to study anime artists you enjoy. So you have to study both anime artists and real human bodies to achieve peak anime boy singularity. I hope this doesn't sound discouraging because it's a lot of work but with the right balance, it can be a lot of fun and very rewarding.

With that said, cute studies!

Hello anon, you were kicked for posting shota once you were already in the server since the art you used to get in was given the benefit of the doubt. The rules were already bent to temporarily allow non-regulars, and originally I was going to bend the "no-tolerance for shota" rule to issue a warning, but upon further inspection of the newest piece you posted, it became suspected that you are the same person who has been hellbent on vendettafagging against the server for quite a few years now. Seeing that you ran to the thread to fight and falseflag already, it seems that those suspicions were correct.
