I'm mostly a SFW artist but I'm on hiatus for the time being and most of my future projects don't really involve complex poses, so I decided to keep myself from getting too rusty by drawing this. I needed to do an unorthodox pose since I don't know if my construction method is sufficient, and this would help me identify any problems with it.

How do hentai artist draw that highest light line, which is usually on the breast, thighs and stomach? You know that one which usually is very white or whitish tone and it looks like its interrupted in random spots.

I was experimenting with using a soft airbrush for sketching and caving out the form. I'm surprised how intuitive it was but it takes kinda long to clean up.
Now I dont't know if I want or just render on top or if I should better define the sketch with lineart. Right now I think I'll struggle extremely hard detailing the face.

Not knowing how to use gradient maps is the least of your issues.
Focus on anatomy (proportions) and perspective (foreshortening). There's appeal in your lines and faces, but the stuff I pointed out is really bad.

Real talk, how does an artist that is bad at proportions draw slim women without them falling into looking unintentionally younger? There are more body types than huge breasts big hips, etc, but as an artist I don’t want what I draw to be mistaken as anything other than an adult, so I usually make them thick and stacked. Which is fine, because I like thick girls, but sometimes I want to draw something varied.

If you want valid criticism: It's bad.
The best part is the torso, the hands are salvageable too.
The worst is the forearm, Its really bad. The foot is bad too. The face looks like something what I see when people do not draw side profiles often. I know this because I'm very guilty of this too since I draw mostly the typical 1/3 view, so the moment I try a side profile I have trouble too, also try to exaggerate the emotion more. That accessory above the tits is a good indicator too, that you have a really bad case of symbol drawing, as you don't know how to rotate things.
Overall its just pretty much lack of experience, and observation. You need a lot of references.

What I would do is completely forget about lineart phase, and sketch a truckload of poses. A lot of people say do not use the 3D models in CSP, and yes, they are stiff and still rigid, but I would encourage you to try to imitate this same exact pose to see why its bad.

The problem is the same with them, symbol drawing. You draw the hair in a very rigid way too. I think Laovaan's hair guide helped me the most out of the bunch of videos I saw so far, so check that out, but again: focus on getting an acceptable, correct and appealing human figure first without hair and clothes.
As for sexual appeal I think ReiQ's and Mikeymega's vids are good.

Overall its okay-ish, but your main problem is not the neck, or the clavicles but the hands which stick out like a sore thumb.
The left hand looks like its a solid surface, or rather floating in the air. If you aimed to put it on the thigh, you the hand should follow the roundness, softness of the thigh. I think its a better idea to put that hand on the left thigh or even the hip to make a more visually appealing pose (at least to me).
As for the right hand, it looks broken. Try to reconstruct the whole hand.

Very appealing stuff otherwise.

Right now I'm shading with a multiply layer using a desaturated pink color, like many other artists I've seen. However I can't seem to blend the shadow colors very well as I have to erase the shadow with a soft brush to do so. It takes kind along and is not precise.

Some advice for blending or rendering in CSP?
I used to render on a normal layer using color picking with low opacity but that takes forever. I really want to avoid spending like 8 hours rendering something since I want to draw a bunch of scenes for a game.

In Photoshop, I smudge from the shadow into the light, and gradually erase from the direction of the light back into the shadow. You can keep layering this one on top of another to eventually end up with a smooth gradient transition

It only works if everything you had before that already had enough values (i.e. form), otherwise you'll just end up with a flat gradient, and it won't read as a 3D form

This technique is almost like a gradual form of hatching, with each layer being one more "step" in the gradation of light to dark

I would use a lot higher contrast, and add more warmth to avoid lifelessness and muddyness, as both are unappealing especially at sexual drawings.
The multiply layer only shading is never gonna give you a superb result, but when speed is the question you shouldn't really bother, especially if you need to do it a lot of times. Play around with correction layers too.
Add terminators too if you like, as they make it pop out.
Remember: perfect is the enemy of good, don't overdo it as its easy to fiddle around with this stuff for weeks.

The one I used had a bit of texture to it, but square brush should work fine, as long as you erase with airbrush / soft round brush (that's what creates the gradient)

These are what I did last week and this week, can someone help me understand why my art comes out so smudgy, ignoring that I didn't fully clean up stray marks? I thought it was because I didn't use enough hard shapes but I think its more than that, looking back at old work Ive noticed everything looks glassy-eyed and kind of melty. Is it from not doing a new lineart layer before coloring combined with amateur rendering on focal points like the face? Or those combined with poor shapes?
I don't use black lines ever and I thought it was just because I didn't like how it looked but I think it must be a symptom of something bigger

I would say just practice more to understand values, and gain confidence. I'm not 100% sure about this but your stuff has this uncertain-beg like feel, up to the point where it just becomes a messed up melted-muddy blob. I would say try greyscaling even. Lineart is not necessary, but it can certainly give you confidence and hand discipline.
