This is Scrapper, He's a old rusty junk robot that came from a factory before being shut down. There were many like him but they ended up being destroyed and turned into parts. Scrapper lives in an alleyway in a small town but the townfolks don't like him because of his dream and what he does and that is wanted to be a super hero, People think he's crazy and he pretends to be one, even though he seriously thinks and wants to be a super hero. But he always ends up messing up and accidently does the wrong things, which cause everyone to get mad at him. That's Scrapper's lore so far.

Jiyo is a lupine beastling—canine beastmen father and human mother. He and his parents lived in an outskirts outside the walls of a kingdom that protected both beast and humans. Still working on em, they are basically the two central characters for my novel.

Olivia (one on the right) is a 35 year old woman without a funeral or memorabilia, transforms into a phantom in a world where lost souls reconstruct bodies from the collective unconscious, becoming Phantoms. Their bodies are made of building blocks or pieces of the collective unconscious known as "gestalt"

As for Olivia, she is essentially a phantom who is tasked to kill her former lesbian lover, who had left her abruptly for no reason at all. She later then discovers her former lover is actually a phantom herself and she grapples with either having to kill her or not.

As for Viktoriya Sokolov (On the left) she is meant to be a phantom who is finding the same person that Olivia is finding, but this time it's to use the gestalt of Olivias target for herself to completely heal herself from her decaying body and continue living as a phantom.

The way they focus so hard on shape language makes their art really abstract in unflattering ways, combine that with the absolute nuclear level of horny autism that they all seem to have and you get characters that look like they're all pieces of weird sexualized furniture. My goal in art has always been to do more with less. I don't aspire to draw any form of realism, or even pretend to attempt. My goal with these character designs is for them to be easy to read and easy to reproduce for a comic that is themed like an early 2000s saturday morning cartoon with an x rating. It is the studio pen in procreate with a slightly lower opacity. I would also task you to work on your line weight as I think it is fairly integral to making a cartoon-y figure. I've settled on this brush but I reckon I could make it work with many others with my technique. Thinner inner lines and a strong outline combined with easy to read shapes is king

Not a furry but wanted anthro races in the story. Name is probably Alya. A war veteran with trauma who keeps it hidden with stoicism. I wanted a 'regal berserker' type design. Left eye/face is terribly scarred but keeps it covered with hair. Weapon is made to be as dumb as possible. Pull some handles and the blades can retract and becomes bolts for a hybrid weapon.

Yes, I made this image to make a general outline for what the story would be based on. I realize I didn't really specify the world it's in, can be summarized as generic fantasy, I have a basic map and stuff, want to expand so much more because I want this to be a long term project. Worst part about this is that I want to have a fantasy world and a literal earth, without it turning into a marvel universe situation. Point of the drawing was to show basic characters and express the main point, being 'choosing a more painful existence over an imagined power fantasy when you're retarded/life is shit balls'
