I am struggling to draw this. How do you simplify? Especially the inner thighs. Those weird shapes. Will post my drawing in a day, struggling!

Draw a moaihead

Focus on 1 part at a time, draw what you see realistically, and use references at different angles, that'll give you a feel for the volume/shape, after a few realism studies you should be able to simplify once you get the hang of the anatomy, Another thing to try is also bone/muscle studies at different positions for the inner thighs if that's what you find tough

Yeah the point of a guide is to be accurate so that you can build more complex forms off of it. You should be doing most of the thinking during the sketch not just shapes with a vague resemblance to the reference onto your canvas.

I’m relatively happy with how this turned out. I take forever with my drawings, so I tried to make this a little quicker than usual. I drew her with a more visible tummy and clean shaven downstairs because that’s my personal preference. Don’t have much advice to give but keep on practicing!
