Oh my gosh, he is so cute! I didn't think he'd be appealing to other people, because his design is so plain, I can't do fashion! Not much separating him from a "generic anime protag" apart from maybe the eyepach, if even. I can't do fashion. The fabric is sick though, I draw with a black sharpie and colored pencils like a child. I love that he actually looks his age here (mid 20s), I can't draw guys masculine enough, after exclusively drawing (or trying to draw) girls for so long. You did amazing though, I hope you don't mind if I take a little inspiration from you! Thank you so much for drawing Tobi, I am grinning like an idiot looking at him.

I think that crits should be supplemented with art rather than berating someone for mistakes than acting as if they're too good to assist people with their work. It adds nothing to the discussion. If you were to add folds to this piece then it should look something like this though it really depends on the weight of the fabric. ( heavier the cloth, the less the fabric bunches and vice versa).

Here I am again. And I think I need to work on the hands. Also tried some dress-up on Tobias!

Also realized I didn't post any lore of him, so here goes-
Born in 1996, lost his left eye as a baby due to infection and neglect. Has since been adopted into a loving family.
Is still in love with his childhood crush, even though she seemingly disappeared without a trace 12 years ago.
Tobi is generally a loner, but doesn't hate people, just has trouble opening up to others. Still acts and feels like a child most of the time. Struggles with growing up and finding his place in the world. Might be mean and isn't afraid to say what he thinks.
Likes watching quiz shows on TV and reading fantasy novels. Really loves tea.
He cries at night sometimes, still believing his love will one day return to him, but his memories of her are slowly fading. Probably needs a hug.
Works at a hospital as an office person. Just an ordinary office boy that might get into some not-so-ordinary situations.

!!! I am freaking out, this is so perfect!! You drew Tobi exactly as I see him in my head, looking gloomy but is actually really sweet = you captured that vibe perfectly! It is what I try to do, but fail every time. His hair is fluff, made for headpats. And I actually thought about if he should have the string above or behind his hair. Above makes more sense so I really like how you did it. I color both the patch and the hair with the same sharpie, so it kind of blends together.
I also love your style, it looks like sprites from an indie game and I adore that aesthetic so much. Thank you a lot for drawing my silly man, he's absolutely perfect!
