What I mean is if you draw the ribcage in a box, just tilt it more. Any pose you are drawing, just make it more exagerated. Its what I did with yours. If you have trouble with it, dont worry thats normal. Id grind perspective books and then hit proko/other anatomy resources.

Or embrace the sketch. You don't NEED to ink your sketches all the time, especially when they're as clean as that sketch is. The texture and variation are nice.
Try disabling the lineart and reenabling the sketch with the color. See how it looks.

NTA but guessing the best way to avoid this is to use a very pressure-sensitive brush. Though from my experience, most brushes that have pressure sensitivity go a bit weird and shrink very heavily when you try to apply less pressure.

The best way I can describe is that its survival eco sim platformer. The environments and creatures are cool. The gameplay can be pretty fluid once you get into it but starts off clunky.
Whether or not you'll like it depends on if you like more structured games or not. It has very little guidance or direction so its fairly common to get stuck/lost. For some that's a perk and for others it sucks.

If anything its definitely a unique game. If you do buy be sure get the PC version and not the console ports.

Don't make it harder for yourself, do simple stuff first, do it well. Then move to harder things.
If you can't sit down and do "boring" stuff, then mix it with your typical fun work. Do a bit of this, then a bit of that.

I start off with gesture.
My torso is just a stretchy rectangle that I curve in the directions I want. Then I do hips/legs but very fluid and gesturally. I always make a horizontal line in the middle of the torso or slightly lower to know where the obliques begin to widen into the hips. I usually don't settle on a head until last because I usually like to change the head position. The arms sometimes come after the legs and hips and are usually just gestural tubes with a bit of taper. I do more anatomical stuff after that.

I've not really gotten this from any specific person/teacher. I enjoy the privilege of having access to an art studio that hosts live model drawing sessions open to the public and this is what I've developed. But I'm still far from the "figure drawer" I'd like to be
He gets hate here on this board but honestly proko's videos on gesture were also a huge help.

Hey, that doesn't look bad. Good job!
And it depends on what kind of cute you're going for. I think rabbits tend to look cute no matter what you do, but you could always try experimenting with shapes, like making larger and rounder, specifically his eyes and skull. The combination of a smaller mouth/snout and larger eyes usually makes things cuter with little effort. Might take some finesse though, or he'll end up looking like a female. Unless that's what you want lmao.

Here's another anon's rabbit as an example (if you're lurking, I hope you don't mind my using Molly as an example) that uses a few of those principles. Even though she's scowling, she's still got that cute effect going on.

NTA but I feel that way a lot of the time too. Best you can do is instead of focusing on how far you are from where you want to be, take pride in what you can achieve. Maybe even watch other artists you know of draw on a stream, in /i/'s oekaki drawing mode or in a webm and then compare how your line confidence and the like compares to theirs. Even if they do it faster, they struggle at times just as much as you do.

That's natural, and the best thing you can do is try to resist the urge to indulge those thoughts. Take a small break to do other things, go outside and take in the sun/wind, remind yourself of your successes, anything that counters your inner critic or distracts it from telling you you're doing shit is worth doing since it clears your mind and doesn't let the negative thoughts pile on. Being internally reasonable helps counter emotional negativity.

Okay? I got no take on it, but seeing the ai threads has been really odd. The technology is there and has proven to dish out some interesting works. But all the images look so goddamn fucking generic and boring. And this isn't the fault from the software, but the people putting in the prompts. Everyone has so many shitty ideas it makes me reflect back on things I called shit and realize it wasn't so bad after all. Ai-kun has some really low standards, but it actually gave me more courage to continue drawing and accepting my faults in my work.

That's because it's a png. You don't need to use pngs unless you REALLY NEED lossless color quality, like for a professional photograph. But for a scanned, or in this case, photographed sketch, you just need jpeg.
Full quality jpegs are still best for most of your needs. You only get bad artifacts when you try to make a smaller picture bigger.

Cute goat btw

>> No.6881813

>>6881809
Actually, I need to correct myself. Because PNGs are lossless, they're better used for logos and charts and things like that, because while the quality is good, the file size is much, much larger. And the 'static' you might get in a jpeg is unnoticeable in something like a photograph.
So stick with jpgs unless you're making some kind of chart or presentation, is the general rule of thumb.
On another slightly related note, you don't need high DPI in your programs unless you're planning on printing the finished product out; DPI is an instruction for printers, and doesn't affect digital image quality.

It's just a simple sketch, which is why the advice that can be offered on it could be vague by nature.
My advice is, be proud that you finished a drawing, be proud that it looks pretty good for what it is, and continue to study and improve. If you want some specific areas to look at, I'd recommend studying skulls of the style you want to draw (if anthro, animal skulls, but know how the human skull works isn't bad either), and nailing down proportions. Learning how muscles and fat lie on the skeleton can really enhance how they're portrayed in drawing and painting as well.
