I picked out that angel character too, I just liked how it looked.

I ended up dropping it and not posting anything because of all the drama and people getting shit on for drawing the "wrong OCs". This would have been my first time drawing for this gen so I'm not looking to pick sides, and I wasn't going to post if it was just going to start a fight.

With that said, I can understand wanting to put a stop to the raiding but the template and giving people shit for drawing certain characters is very off-putting. She is one of those Blessed kids, and the best of them so she serves as the Pontiff's main attendant and voice. She speaks for him since he is not very talkative. She is into the role and acts a bit smug and condescending of others, also tends to use old-sounding words when she talks. She is an antagonist in story pretty much since the Pontiff is one of the two main antagonists. Being selected, she used to be from a noble family (I don't know what was her original name but probably Ming-something.)

Anon thats not helpful. What fundies do you think I am weakest at, say something nice or platonic thats borderline tryhard nice, then address the most glaring criticism and BE SUCCINT. Work on your perspective, BECAUSE (the standard) Good artwork by pros typically know perspective and its obvious to the natural eye because the human eye recognizes perspective easily. (you vs a rival) I personally am bad at doing a natural palette, but I find the artists I like use good perspective like EXAMPLE, (you vs youself) In the end, ask yourself, what would I benefit from learning perspective? etc. Work on your critiquing skills.

NTA, but I'd say the fundamentals of perspective and construction, followed by gesture. I strongly recommend checking out Framed Perspective and Framed Ink, Proko's videos on construction and gesture, and Bridgman's Complete Guide to Drawing from Life as starting points.
