I did the lines! I tried my best to incorporate as much critique as possible, especially with the face. I appreciate any more critique I get.

Also blood is fine as long as it's not gore right? This one was gonna have blood on it. I haven't seen that many people post work with blood so idk. Maybe I just haven't lurked enough, this board is kind of slow so I'm usually elsewhere.

Great piece anon, I think your faces are big compared to the head size/ mouth being so far down makes the face look bigger. If I had to recommend something for you to study it'd be placement for facial features and the hairline. Solid work everywhere else, your color choices are consistently great.

Cropping it already fixes it a ton so it looks less like a desktop wallpaper. I also would made more clearer cell shading and eliminating/ customized the airbrush it's not given good edge control here.

I didn't think the airbrush was that bad. For the longest time this is how it looked like and I had mixed feelings about the shading, I thought by using an airbrush I would get it to look closer to the reference.

I think the floating hand is redundant and hurting the composition. The sink is enough info to shownus we’re seeing a reflection. Also the line of the floor (?) suddenly make a diversion in the ‘real’ space that it shouldn’t, it should just follow the same path as the reflection. Same goes for the picture on the wall, it doesn’t follow the vp correctly

I have an OC, had him for over 10years and he means a lot to me, I have a few old drawings but since I am bad at art it was never anything spectacular.
Recently I gave in and sinned, I found and traced poses and faces for a reference sheet of him. I know that's extremely bad, but the images are just for me, I don't post them anywhere.
It is just so beautiful to finally see him as he is supposed to be after only living in my thoughts (rent free) for so long. Anons, I nearly cried. My son, my baby...

A hundred years passed and my sisters and I discovered a new Avatar (The same Avatar), a narutard named Rock Lee anon, and although their drawing skills are based, they have a lot to learn before they're ready to save anyone. But I believe Rock Lee anon can save the thread.

This general is nice and supportive now because the shotafags are gone. Like they really added nothing to the general in the end. No advice or crits, no improvement, no consideration for others, no sense of community, and they don't even help themselves. They were the last thing holding this thread back from being just about making good art

But if you're not sure on where to start, using references is a really good thing to do (studying from real life first and then your favorite artists second-- you need to understand how to draw a real human in order to draw a stylized one :{})

Also if you like to study from books (yes, they are a bit scary/daunting at first), I started out with Hampton's Figure Drawing Design and Invention (if anyone has a better rec, feel free to input). And don't forget to ask for help as well!!! There's always an anon willing to help another out!!

I don't draw very often, even simple drawings take me 2-3 hours, I can't just do random doodles, I have to make everything a finished piece! Of course the pics I traced look better and more accurate, but these ones are done by my hand and have the soul!
I am possibly slightly better at art than I was a few months ago, I probably have a few old bad drawing habits that I can't seem to drop. I like to think I improve with every drawing I do, even if it isn't immediately apparent. We usually do secret santas, so for Halloween it'll be a halloween/spooky themed secret santa. We're currently playing with the possibility of designing Halloween costumes for our OCs), but it's not limited to just OCs, it can be of ships, husbandos, etc.
