I want to be an artist and draw but I cannot bring myself to do it. I'm always fantasizing about becoming a pro artist, yet I'm also fantasizing about becoming a musician which I have the equipment and more of the experience than art, yet I recognize that music has less worth than art.
Should I go with my gut (art) or my childish likings (music)?

I think you could do both and just focus on one dream at a time. For example, if you have an actual goal in one dream or the other, say, you have an idea for an album, or a short book, you should follow that first and just commit your time to it fully. You say you have more experience as a musician than and artist, and i think youre half decent as an artist as is, so either way i think you could succeed, just dont waste time and get your dreams out there!
