Skin tones are generally just a light orangeish color, so orange is going to be easy to mistake, especially in a drawing that renders out its light and shadow. Maybe do some quick color swaps over that bit with the other colors you’re already using in the drawing. Try Yellow, Black, Blue-Green, and White. See which you think works best.

Yes! His name's Blink and, as his hero name suggests, he's a teleporter. Lore is that he "died" the day he received his powers. In truth, his body disintegrated and reformed, and, not wanting to return to the pressures of his old life, Blink ended up living on the streets for a while, wherein he gets brainwashed into becoming the recruiter for a mutant-supremacist cult.

MC ends up breaking the brainwashing spell entirely on accident which causes him to desert the cult and switch to the side of good, so he ends up going from underfed homeless skeleton to happy and well-fed twunk who lives comfily in MC's closet (which is a huge step-up from homelessness).

Speaks with an Italian-style New York accent and is a proficient boxer, which works extremely well with his speed.

Meant to type up something more eloquent, but work is a bitch, etc., etc.

I'd do it like this. I selected the middle of the image and shortened it vertically and moved the bottom of the image up. I also liquified stuff. It's just personal taste but I would have moved the lower lids up so the smile reaches his eyes but I think a blank stare still looks cool

I think the nose is a bit low and too much to (our) right. The mouth looked low too. I guess one thing to note about where the top of the nose starts is it's at about the same level as the eyes. In a simple anime style you might not want to define the entire nose, but keep it in mind when imagining where the top of the nose starts because going too low will look odd. Also, the medial line of the face moves as the face turns because it's curved. It looks like you drew the "root" of the nose centered between the eyes, but at that angle the center of the face/eyes would move too

I was going to redline (which I do not think I'm really qualified to do at my skill-level), but I decided to just try to adjust the face instead.

Mouth seemed a little small, and the chin seemed a little sunken-in. I tried to maintain the same style you had going for him. Hope this helps!!!

it depends on the direction you want to go with your art but if you want to do a rendering style that focuses on forms I'd try blocking out shadows for the broader shapes before defining the smaller things like all the frills and folds. Then you can use ambient occlusion and bounce light to bring out the little frills and folds

The chin kind of swings back when the mouth is open (you can look at the angle of the front of your chin when your mouth is closed vs open) so the chin you drew looks like it's jutting forward a bit much and idk if this is an obvious one but you can just rotate and flip your canvas to match what you can see of your non-dominant hand for a quick hand reference
