This is why flat lighting is bat for this sort of stuff, it's really hard to see the plain changes. I read or heard somewhere, that painting pretty young women faces is one of the hardest things to get right. The lack of wrinkles is one thing, but to depict light going from one plain to another with almost nothing to work with is a great challenge. You did a great job, especially with the subtle highlight on her cheek. With such a simple stroke your understanding of forms, construction and anatomy really shows. If anything, you should do more portraits of pretty girls.
