You know how in music theory there's a sort of cheat sheet for songwriting involving common progressions/keys and the circle of fifths?

Does drawing have any cheat codes like that?

I IV vii iii iv II V I? Cheat sheet, you mean formula. One can do that through all 12 keys using secondary dominants. Its a formula a basic one not even advanced because most listeners are musically retarded.
As for something similar in art, I would think shape as a representive of form. You know like an oval as head etc. Though being a cynic since I have an advanced degree in music theory, I would say the most analogous thing in art would be tracing.

Only thing that comes to mind is perspective lines.

Making music is so much easier than drawing like holy fuck.
Each step in music reduces viable options for example:

Pick a scale > Make a progression using 6 viables chords > compose your melody mostly using the notes fron those chords > congrats you just made something listenable
