I lowered the pricing on my paintings drastically but nobody is buying still. Any tips?
I attached some of my work below. I paint pet Portraits in watercolor and do a bit of stuff on other mediums, but watercolor is my main thing and usually how I pay my rent. The last few months have been painfully slow and the last good month was March.

whatever reach you had, all customers which had kink for cute doggos already filled all their walls with your stuff. solution? draw something else to reach new audience. or try selling on different places

there is also good chance you got shadow banned on whatever platform you were selling at. amazon is infamous for this: if something is selling well they delist your stuff and starts selling copy of same goods under their own name. or somebody reported you as fraud. you get the idea. to confirm that simply try to look for your stuff on the website in different browser (not logged in)

good luck you gonna need it. slashing prices just devaluates your stuff, dont do that unless you know for a fact there is dude who does same service as you but cheaper.

also consider asking on /biz, this isnt really art related, but pure bussiness question, which they might be more helpful with.

Also recently twitter and reddit commited suicide, so if you were using these for ads or reach, it might explain it.

Have you looked into local shows? There's some art galleries and local art events where you can set up a stall and sell prints and paintings. A lot of people will buy one even if it's not their pet, as long as it's the same breed. Your old platform might just not be working anymore for some reason, and you need to find a new one to expand into

I’ve tried this a few times but always end up losing money on materials/framing or the cost of being a vendor

I primarily sell on Facebook and funnel most sales to my Etsy. But my reach has dropped a lot and even on poste of engagement i don’t necessarily get sales ugh. Recently I’ve been exploring other mediums I’ve done in the past and those are selling a bit, but it isn’t enough to cover my bills like painting has been. I do custom art mostly so I don’t do Amazon
