The smartphone has singlehandedly destroyed any prospects humanity had for not living on a prison planet. Literally dropped the general population's IQ by a standard deviation and, via intense distraction, made people a lot less likely to pursue difficult scientific careers. Because how are you supposed to focus on textbooks and science when your brain is used to 5 second tiktoks? We will rot on this shitty planet forever because of this unironically.

So yes, fuck all non-medical technology, shit needs to be destroyed and forgotten. Smartphones and computers have done infinitely more harm than good.

>Why can't you people just make your own fucking art without all the scraping and loras and positive/negative prompts?
That's the thing, real artists aren't the ones shilling for AI. They draw. They don't care about their 'work' getting stolen since, a) most artists aren't getting any work in the first place and are doing it as a PASSION. and b) AI is still utter shit for getting a very specific vision onto canvas, and that, coupled with unique styles in demand, keeps human artists in business.
AI Shills don't actually care about drawing. They don't even LIKE drawing. They don't love the creative process - they see it as an inconvenience separating them from the pretty end product they want. AI shills by and large are usually commissionfags - like, super autistic drama magnet commissionfags, like the kind you find on /acrg/ on /trash./ You know, the ones without a creative bone in their body but lots of cool ideas for their SO AMAZING COOL ORIGINAL CHARACTERS which are usually completely one dimensional and a vehicle for their fucked up sexual perversions.
I get the general impression that promptfags are just really goddamn jealous of artists, and as such, absolutely desperate to prove their photobashed kitschy crap even holds a candle to real artwork with real intent and a real creative vision.

Commercial wise, nigga it has been two years, before all of this copyright law even cracking down, most entertainment companies were already iffy about using AI, you could clearly see that they love the opportunities to jump on every shitty trends, nft, meta, crypto, but they sure as hell didnt touch AI art generator, but now with the laws clearly state what is right and wrong, what is fair use and not, which deem all AI art as not usable for commercial and AI niggers are nothing but art commisioner, they wont even dare to touch it now. You can say the genie is out of the bottle as many time you want, you can go on to other boards and multiple website to say how the "inkcel and drawfag are gona get replaced" and how you btfo all of the artists and make them seethe, but the laws have only been tightened up, Europe straight up banned AI shit, China limited the use of AI and forced AI niggers to clearly label their work, US copyright law deemed AI not copyrightable, most art websites already banned or soft banned you, and it will only get worse from now on that the law is catching on, no artist in any legitimate entertainment companies are getting replaced or fired.

>AI act
It's a bit long, you can read it on https://artificialintelligenceact.eu
Pretty much, among other things, it makes the use of open source AI models illegal, with heavy fees for hosting sites like github.
You can read about it on https://technomancers.ai/eu-ai-act-to-target-us-open-source-software/
>In a bold stroke, the EU’s amended AI Act would ban American companies such as OpenAI, Amazon, Google, and IBM from providing API access to generative AI models.
>bans third countries from using it
>You have to register your “high-risk” AI project or foundational model with the government
>API Essentially Banned
>explain in detail
it's explained in that article m8. Open source models are the ones that produce that kind of "Wow" AI art because they sample more specific artists
(for example in my research i found some specific models with API access to stablediffusion that specialized in anime girls, porn, backgrounds, pixel art etc,
those are the ones producing AI art that looks more like the real thing), while for example dall-e 2 or stablediffusion are more generalist.
It is pretty much impossible to produce actual illustrations like the one you posted only on those models, let alone if they have to give up on copyrighted images.

You talk like a zoomer and are clearly arguing in bad faith, but I'll respond anyway. The transformative factor is to claim it under fair use as a defense, not for copyright law. Despite automatic copyright being granted for many published pieces, people still send more important pieces to the US Copyright Office so that there is an official record besides a randomly-named Twitter post, actually tied to a real name or federally-filed entity. Indeed, you and other AI artists are quite fortunate for now that nobody thus far has pissed off someone who is rich and is willing to either lobby legislative bodies to either enact proactive anti-AI laws or to litigate the matter yet in court. But all it takes is one direct thing to get the ball rolling.

The day has finally come when AIggers are getting bullied so hard they either straight up leave the board (no new AI threads in the last few days!) or they start having a mental breakdown.
These fags have been getting thoroughly dismantled and deconstructed in every thread they've started in the last week and I am LIVING for it. The catharsis of seeing these smug roaches getting dabbed into the soil after shitting up this board and other spaces for so long borders on the orgasmic.
And since no one's posted it yet, here it is. This is all that your AIshitters ever were- automated photobashing. Stealing shit and mixing it together. This illusion of unlimited creation and "democratized" art- ha!- is crumbling to dust. Your magical machine that learns and creates like a human was nothing more than a fantasy this whole time.

You who whore themselves out on social media, desperate for money, validation and attention aren't any better from an average pajeet who spams social media with their "creations" for the same reason while thinking they're an artist

True art is created and exists for it's own purpose, not to become a masturbatory tool for the artists ego

I understand why so many people are furious. Most of the modern "artistic expression" is driven by a pointless chase of immediate visual impact and instant gratification, much in the likes of AI garbage, both are extremely superficial. Nowadays there's barely anyone who understands that art should go beyond simple visual stimulation, it should represent something deeper and more profound. If your "art" is nothing but a spectacle and a cheap imitation it's no different from something a pajeet can shit out with a press of a button. Therefore it's natural to feel anger, after all the skill you developed had no real meaning to it. By continuously working to create something shallow and meaningless you have brought yourself down placing your own creations on the even playing field with the ones pajeet can extract. Except the pajeet is much more efficient at it

AI is nothing but a tool, if you feel threatened by it then your insecurity and inflated self-worth are to blame, not the technology. And if you're worried about your work being stolen to train it, you really have nothing to worry about as the only use for your work is for the computer to know what it shouldn't draw

You're throwing diamonds to demoralized cattle who just see and consume art for the pretty pictures and to get coomerbux from other cattle like them so they'll finally be rich&famous and get worshipped like celebrities only to kill themselves the moment they become irrelevant.

Honestly, at this point, just let them be oblivious and let them die. Stop explaining shit to them, stop trying to make them aware of anything. Stop trying to educate them.
Don't give them the secret recipe; they don't deserve it.

They will never be able to think beyond their own ego. Their ego is the only thing they have.
