The 2nd Comics and Random Art Battles (C.R.A.B. 2) tournament will decide (again) the fate of the multiverse. OCs from multiple image boards will be kidnapped by the Gamemaster, put into teams and take part in many extreme challenges to obtain a single wish, whatever it may be!

Meanwhile some of the simplest designs ended up pretty entertaining. I mean, Abby is literally just a fuckgirl, but her bants make her entries fun to read.
A good design isn't an overcrowded one, it's a coherent one, with a good motif. I should be able to look at a character and get a vague idea of who and what they are, unless you're intentionally trying to misdirect.

In a way I get Falcon anon.
He's probably not used to doing art at all and it might seem trivial for us to produce low quality art, "just doodle something on a napkin, bro".

But back when I only had a mouse and was still getting familiar with digital software, making even the simplest image happen was an enormous effort. Not because of the drawing part, but because of everything else involved. Finding the tools, deciding on resolution (pixels or cm?), not having a set workflow, etc. etc.

He was probably kill by a mix of disinterest, lack of skill and paralysis by analysis, he knew he was expected to deliver a full comic, but he couldn't even reliably draw Falcon's missing hand (we will never see it...). He cracked under the pressure and fucked Cannon Girl anon over in the process.

Emwi had some reasonable complaints about the organizational aspects of the tournament and if they kept their opinion about most of the OCs in tourney being ones they'd never want anything to do with then I doubt anyone would have had a problem with the issues.

They really joined a tournament explicitly called CRAB for OCs and found themselves surrounded by crab-tier OCs, how could this happen? If they realized immediately they had no actual stake or desire to interact with the contestants, their OCs, or even attempt to do anything to endear people to their OC then why exactly did they stay? Yes while I am upset with my matchups, this doesn't change the fact my criticism wasn't that I got matched up with people I don't like. It was that the entire format, prompts, and lack of choices all compound to make it hard to draw anything that actually showcases my, or anyone else's, characters. My critique and recommendations were based around solving this issue. And this became a bigger sticking point when the GM asks for matches and then ignored them, iirc only 1 person on my entire team got anyone on their list at all.
Maybe actually argue against the arguments and suggestions I made instead of your 2nd hand dramaposting.

Like do you not understand that volunteer and free leagues exist for basically every hobby and sport in existence, and for the most part they're handled fairly professionally even for free and as a side thing someone's doing for fun.

The 4chan soccer tournament has been going on for over a decade.
I've also been in many other events run by solo indie streamers who were able to competently handle month long events.
And I have run events that did not have me at the helm making everything about myself.

It's also the case that most ostracize you because others do it. That's literally their justification. I think people gave you a really short end of the stick for absolutely no reason.

Their justification for ostracizing you is personal in nature and it's literally something along the lines of "Well, it's popular to ban fred, so we will follow suit in this practice to ostracize you."

Then when you criticize such the next excuse becomes something along the lines of "He shit up the threads for months!" or thread drama, where those that have authority are unwilling to admit to being unfair and morally wrong. Apologizing is not a good look (it's very petty). So they play the argument of exaggerating your activity on this forum and how it's a hellscape ever since you showed up.
It's extremely silly like a circus.

anon he was literally given a chance when he first entered the tourney despite his previous reputation and complaints by other contestants that did know about said reputation. nobody wanted to team up with him, so he was allowed to form his own team from his own friends from outside the competition and vormio. before the round even started, fred was already stirring up shit constantly complaining about team chad and manarchy and also let drama from their own team spill over the main discord. said drama is really about him banning vormio from his own server for some inane reason and then pretending that everyone on the team unanimously banned him (despite evidence to the contrary, evidence which he posted himself to prove that it was a unanimous decision). to say that it was a targeted attack is simply wrong, he was given a chance to compete with everyone, and bungled it up. it was his own fault, and he brought it to himself.

i myself wouldn't have cared if he didn't continue being assmad about it on the threads while stirring up the same shit on other threads on other boards. even if we are to assume that he never posts anonymously, his posting history still proves that he's continually and deliberately shitting up the threads while actively gloating about it, despite previous statements that he's gonna focus on grinding and leave the threads alone (he never does).

and, before anyone says it, emwi's situation cannot be compared to fred. emwi has aired their personal criticisms and opinions about the tournament and their experience with it, raising a couple of good points. fred meanwhile stirred drama amongst the contestants purely because of his own ego. it is telling when 3 of the 5 members of his team (which he pulled from his own server, mind you) unanimously detest him for their own separate reasons
