Last I checked he was complaining in his DA about how nobody interacts with him or provides any meaningful feedback, I sent him a message back in July of last year linking this board. This is me cherrypicking his work, it seems he's stuck in a perpetual state of my style over fundamentals I took a view of his gallery and they all look the exact same way of this puppet/mannequin like figure. The drawing in the OP seems to have been his most ambitious because all of them have very minimal or no background at all.

As I said earlier, we are going to substantially kill off art as a skill if it isn't even "worth it" to become mediocre (since anyone "good" was obviously mediocre at some point). On a personal level I don't find this demoralizing because I happen to like art and learning, but you can imagine what the society-wide effects of this will be as a "don't bother learning x" attitude permeates the population and stops people before they start, on whatever skill they would have been interested in more otherwise, and in the long-run that means fewer and poorer quality artifacts of our culture. Lets talk fundamentals then. Have you grabbed a blank physical canvas and do work in it. How would you first approach it? What are the principle of a good composition, color theory, intent and symbolism for knowing the anatomy bases, and history of art. What book would you recommend for each one of these topics? The only thing that I see on IC is a bunch of fragile "artistic" egos that cannot even point out a good read on any particular topic, mediocre porn without any intent or underlaying meaning. And the worst of all tools for big tech companies loud speaking ideas that are not even theirs.
I'll start with a good read on anatomy Gottfried Bammes. (German edition is the best one)
