Really anything with slightly abnormal proportions and an early 2000s markers & pen vibe. Lot of dogshit bara yaoi in the era has exactly the right vibe, like Bespoke

I have a very temporary mind where I know what I like but I couldn't tell you if my life depended on it what it actually is.
I have artists I love but I don't really keep them in my mind, if that makes sense. It's a bit hard to do studies because of this.

Work hard on composition and graphic design. without zooming in, I can easily tell what the images are of in all your influence pics, but there are a few images of yours I can't tell without zooming in, and even doing that they are still hard to grok. make it read in the thumbnail. as an exercise, try making appealing/readable images with only black and white shapes, no middle values.

You might be on to something. I've been reading 'The Natural Way To Draw - Kimon Nicolaides' and they talk alot about finding movement and gestures in the figure and capturing feeling rather capturing what you're seeing. The opposite to stiff and precise academic drawing.
