If you look at most tournaments like this, there's basically never a requirement to draw other people, and anyone you include is including because you want to include them.

I suppose it's partly because i have a saviour complex/"i can fix him/her" and partly because i'm not a big fan of power structures/communities in general so i can connect easier to people i see as "fellow outsiders".

The unfortunate thing about all of this is i only bothered with this tournament in the first place so i could be better friends with fred.
