What are the pros/cons of each? Right now I have that old Pose Tool 3D app on my phone and the standard CSP models. I find PT3D is a bit clunky, CSP's seems OK, but I need to see what other models are available beyond the stock anime waifs.
At some point I might get back to 3D modeling and make my own pose models, but last time I rigged anything was years ago and it was some of the most soul crushing """art""' shit I've ever done.

CSP has a lot of free poses from the asset store and customizability, but I have a hard time with it. Bonus is that it comes with CSP
MP app is easier for me to use on my tablet, I can drag around stuff. Assets are real limited on the free version and there are two tiers of pay content which sucks

3D pose references are best when used as just that, pose references which give you general perspective, proportion, and anatomy CUES. Generated images will fill in those gaps in a way which will either be entirely wrong or overly direct your work toward a particular finished product. If you're wanting anatomy reference, you're better off looking at photos. If you're wanting style reference, you're better off looking at the actual works of the artists whose styles you like.

Hard to describe how much easier and less autistic literally everything is, CSP isn't even close when it comes to posing and proportion/body editing.
You should just try the demo version. If you're not going back to previous poses or saving .objs you probably don't need the full version.
