Yeah it's real. I was raised in severe domestic violence. Lived my adulthood in malignant narcissistic abuse. Then Jesus came to me in my dreams and I began trying to figure out how to follow him. Yeshua saved me. I was meant to live and die in abuse, in a life as a slave to someone else's shame. But because of Jesus I learned over time that there was another reality other than what was forced upon me. Freedom. That's the short of it.

I wanted an anonymous spot to express the journey of abuse recovery and salvation in the Messiah. What I experienced and how my God Adonai helps me learn how to live a life of love.
The church stuff is real too. In navigating colonial capitalistic Christianity in America, I had to make a separate account because of lack of emotional understanding in the Church at large. In the end it's mostly therapeutic for me. I needed an outlet for my self-expression.

My multiple abusive families were all extremely strict catholics, so I hated religious people growing up, but years after finally getting free of their shitty talons and being able to look at religion more rationally, I finally understood why people cling to it, and there's nothing inherently bad in it. It's one of those feelings where I'm happy you understand me and sad that you understand. I'm sorry. Religious abuse is so toxic, and it's hard finding a way out of it. I'm so glad you found a way out.
I grew up in Christianity and that was used to brainwash me. My mom said that God told her what I was thinking so I was always paranoid. As an adult, after I saw Jesus in my dreams, I thought it would be easy to find others who knew this entity that gave pure love. The real thing, not just what is institutionalized. But that wasn't the case and still isn't. That's why I always refer to the old Hebrew way of saying Adonai, meaning My God.

It's a lifelong journey of learning to love ourselves and be kind to ourselves. Somedays I feel grateful and full of hope to discover love and other days I feel downcast for the same reasons.

No. Your tweet shows up in the timeline of people who follow you, and if they retweet it then it shows up in the timeline of people who follow them.

Getting followers is a matter of putting out content people like, and then pushing it in their faces. You can use hashtags, but that just means anyone who actively has a search running for that hashtag will see your tweet with it.

It was a scammer, whenever I reject scammers commissions, they report me for sexual content despite my account being SFW drawings only until now.

I use Ko-Fi, is good, also a good way to spot scammers, after you offer your Ko-Fi, they'll foam at the mouth and ask you to give them your real paypal info for a paypal-paypal transaction.
Especially after you explain them that Ko-Fi is for your security and that they don't have to make an account or anything, it's like buying something online.

I posted here b4 about me being stuck at 2.4k a month ago and well, i made it into 25k this month. I am more happy about getting followed by the big name artists than the numbers itself.
I also got made into threads on /ic/ which tells me i made it.

i think the follower increase is more of a 'burst', with help of the algorithm. or maybe i just made the right content.
My goal this year was to get 10k but since im way past that my new goal is 100k.
idk if i can do it since my art is pretty bad. but i am trying hard to come up with ideas to get more reactions.

i am trying to work on a comic project and i hope my higher follower count helps me build a fandom.

I got to this number very quickly so take my word with a grain of salt. But basically:
1.upload everyday. No matter the quality.
I was posting twice a day when i was getting lots of attention. Maybe it can trigger the twitter algorithm to think you are the next big thing on their platform. I set my posts to tweet automatically at a certain time. i am experimenting which time is the best. So far 3pm and 5pm newyork time were pretty good.

2. I have post 3 types of content: funny/meme, wholesome/regular drawings, lewd/sexy. lewd/sexy drawings gets u more views and likes but also attract weirdos who will accuse you of being a pedo or fetish artist. just block them. Funny posts will get you lots of followers. The posts that made me blow up itinially were all funny posts. But lewd posts still out ranked them in terms of numbers so i suggest mixing the two. If you cant think of sth funny just draw a meme with a popular character.

3. Having mutuals who are big artists would help too even if they dont retweet your stuff people will see your account and see the famous people following you which makes it more likely for them to follow themselves.

I dont wanna post my socials cus it would associate me with 4chain or people might think i am a hack for using internet tactics rather than skills. and my drawing skils are /beg/ at best. And of course, I dont think i am a big shit big man for getting followers. i am just sharing my thoughts and experiences and this is not a lecture.

Here is general question for people who have found success on Twitter- how much do you retweet? I never retweeted because I was fairly new to regularly posting art and I don't have a portfolio elsewhere so I wanted my own work to be most visible. It's interesting because big accounts follow me. They just don't retweet me. And it's infuriating because these are people that I know from 4chan that "heart" my posts when they're posted in my discussion posts, essentially lurkers.

I’ve been looking through the personal artwork threads and I am really tempted to try it looks like a good alternative social media. It seems everyone there has actual discussion and there’s a lot of good critiques sometimes on /ic/ it’s hard to know who is posting in good faith especially with how much hostile behavior is on here and it’s hard to get any fruitful discussion without shitflinging. The only downside is the low activity on there but I think I’m going to try making one anyway, it won’t hurt and maybe low activity is a good sign in its own right.
