1. digital fits anime coom better than oil painting.
2. oil painting takes longer and you might not finish up before anime waifu of the month becomes stale
3. it is not like the patrons are getting an oil painting. they're getting a digital reproduction of an oil painting
4. anime fans don't care about oil paintings
