What exactly makes normies think "more detail = better" even if everything else about the art is kind of shitty? How does this shit even have 500 likes? I am missing anything or it's just blind fanboyism in this specific case? Isayama isn't even that bad in modern times, but seriously saying he's better than Toriyama, Togashi and Horikoshi with such a straight face should be a crime.

Because they think putting so much detail into something takes a lot of skill, which is technically true however they don't understand how someone with more skill could make simple drawings and somehow look better. But people appreciate hard work over skill either way.
