I know, it is a struggle for me.
The sketch became the lineart and stayed as one layer throughout, I don't know how to 'simplify' my lineart without losing a lot of information on the picture. I don't know how to explain it. It's like I absolutely have to draw everything I imagine, each step, and all of it is just one large step to me. I do not know how to relax and only draw the things that need to be seen, to be more specific. Not sure if picrel helps but this is how I go through things in my head. What's worse is that I lump so many things together and connect everything and make all my lines thick but they're usually wrong anyway because /beg/
I'm thinking the answer is "try harder" but if it isn't, what are good ways to practice.

I see no wrong in this, exactly my work process.
I do have one question, are you, yourself unsatisfied with your own work flow and results, or do you want thing to look ''cleaner'' because only of outside opinions. Since there's nothing wrong for a piece to have strong or heavy lines. I do think your art has a lot of charm, I really like the bunny guys hair. Of course you can always improve thing like anatomy, gesture and so on. But if you want more cleaner/confident lines, I'd recommend practice line weight, avoid re-drawing lines atop on each other, just do one line at a time and connect them. I also recommend you to to study folds, right now they feel a bit randomly placed, try draw the folds more softer/lighter since it feels like they take the focus away a bit atm.

I am. I didn't mean that I disliked my process, but I think I am Too messy. I like my lines to lay thickly but I think in certain areas it's clear that they're just Too thick. Compare the left lines on the rabbit's arm to the lines on the raccoon's shirt or their faces.
I want to keep my lines looking 'natural' - like how one anon asked if it was a trad scan, if I could I would go for the sort of watercolor look.

The main thing I read from these is that I feel your lines lack a bit of direction. Like your putting down lines randomly, with no clear direction or maybe fully aware why you put them there. The coloring makes it hard to tell what's going on with his hair, the human brain likes to see pattern, as of now the lineart and his hair color don't match, making it hard to read.
