Most people have no problems getting through these courses, which only exist so that there's less problems down the line when someone who didn't even realize they were acting in a bigoted fashion or hitting on girls too hard eventually crosses the line. Again, like the other anon said, orientation courses were a thing forever because people who think it's okay to yell racial slurs at other because that was okay in their social circles before they came to uni have been around forever.
