It honestly depends on what YOU want to draw because these are too entirely different directions with two entirely different audiences and taste. i dunno i'd grind more figures or copy more illustrations you like or something. don't think it's hard edges or whatever, but the body is just strangely proportioned overall.
his calf muscle is almost as wide as his face, the arm doesn't really make sense to me because it doesn't properly connect to the torso, and the face looks very symbol drawn imo, all the features just look slapped on.
