Is there any kind of guide for how best to use prompts for stability diffusion?

So far from what I’ve gathered is that first prompt is most important and commas separate ideas. But is there a more intricate formula that anyone has worked out? Do things like =:;!? have any effect?

What about if you wrote things algebraically?

Typically if you see something like (blonde:1.4), they're using a model that can use danbooru tags, though all models would recognize it to be "Blonde at 1.4 emphasis"

Assuming you're using the automatic1111 webui, there's good reading here:

The nested parentheses is an old thing, the way to do it now is ie:

Where 1 is a "regular" weight. Though also the placement in the prompt makes a difference on weight, so elements towards the beginning are more heavily weighted

The part I linked is for prompt editing, for instance, halfway through generation, switching the prompt to something else. There's a couple variations on that.

Don't think about natural language sentences, it doesn't care about that at all. It doesn't care at all about capitalization, and in fact spaces and commas are just noise that you could leave out, interestingly. You could experiment with it.

Like I don’t personally see the AI image itself as a final product. I see it as a tool to help you create a final product.

It reminds me so much of the what it’s like working on a movie production in a lot of fascinating ways where it’s like you got the idea and now you have write it and then get a bunch of takes while adding input and at the end of the day you’ve got a bunch of options for things that were generally pretty close to what you had pictured, and what you were looking for. I find it's more useful as a way to tweak prompts, when you feel a keyword isn't being represented well enough or too much.
I was doing something with a specific style and wanted to add in some christmas things, but turns out the "christmas" keyword completely took over, so I changed it to (christmas:0.4) and then the christmas-ness didn't take over.

But I feel like this is already a long term change. I don't say this lightly though I believe that this will continue to change. I'm not sure what my answer is to that. I am not saying what your opinion is on this change, or being so concerned about it. I'm just saying that I have a definite view in my head, with my head as a full and fully functioning 4 person project where there are many things that can and many things don't. I'm not saying everything that you will have been concerned about with this time or that are actually in my head. We all know what this future will be, we all know what we will have become.
