Spent yesterday trying to copy Bridgman but my usual way of drawing is pic rel. My goal is to refine my art. I've never been satisfied with my drawings and I want to change that. I've always had an issue with hoarding art book after art book and actually want to take the time to study it.

Been working on finally getting a final design for the "Moonmen" the closest thing to a police force, specifically trained for guarding against and fighting off "Scavengers"

The one thing I've really struggled with which is part of why this took so long is that I'd never figured how to make the heads, how it'd look and what they'd wear, for the longest time I pictured them with a long cylinder shaped hat inspired by king guards, but figured it'd look too dumb, my second idea was a sci-fi kind of helmet that completely covers their heads, but that's done a lot and maybe it'd be too complicated and unfitting plus I like the idea of their mouths being visible, so my third idea is either a hat or a helmet with a visor, I just need to figure out how to approach that, because I don't want to end up making them look like captain falcon.

the noise is just on two layers, each with clip studio's perlin noise filter: one's layer mode is set to linear light, opacity at ~10%, with the filter scale at 2.0-2.5 so that it looks "blocky"; other one's set to soft light so it doesn't appear in white areas, opacity ~70%, with the filter scale at the minimum so it looks "noisy".
