At the pizza place I work at we use a mezzaluna to cut the pies. So toppings that get cut are indented but they don't shift much. The shifting i think happens if it's cut with a pizza cutter.

I'm not a regular on the actual board nowadays but I haven't seen anyone tell anyone not to draw. all you gotta do is make sure youre mindful of the space your drawing in
like the board is suuuper big so you can draw smaller than you think for a lotta things

that's p much it! good rules of thumb to kinda stick to in general tho drawpile is also really really great for collaborating!
like idm if people ever draw alongside my drawnigs whenever im in a board or add to them or interact with them. i always back up my drawings on another canvas anyway when im done
there are also other public servers you can join depending on the host. Like the drawpile site itself has a servers tab but other drawpile server hosts can have their own public listings too
in case you wanna go around and scope it out but most of the boards are probably roleplay boards (which isn't a bad thing imo but it can be hard to get into sometimes if the group is really tight knit)
so if you arent vibin here (cuz last i checked it could get p slow) then there are a bunch of other servers around

naw naw youre all good! the more the merrier i say! the best thing about drawpile is being able to see all of the varied skills of everyone and all of their little niches and artist quirks
it doesnt matter if theyre good or not imo
as long as youre drawing and having fun, thats what really matters
plus you'll only improve if you draw so it's win/win for everyone :D

since the theme of the week was 'mechanical', i imagined a wind-up soldier conducting a small group of other wind up toys...it also made me realize i don't know what monkeys look like ^^;; since it became rather large, i was worried about taking up so much space, but it seems ok for now.
i've really been enjoying your bumps in these threads so far, your sense of anatomy & style is very cool! i really admire that you can draw such a big variety of subjects. my favourite so far is the many-armed wizard character c: really love the hatching too

Think of it like a big online whiteboard where people can come along and draw together. It's not the most advanced software, but you can accomplish quite a lot in it! It's great for drawin w people or sometimes I just like drawin w a little company

You gotta download the software from the drawpile website in order to join. It's free though! :D It also works offline as well!
There are a bunch of public servers around too, easy ones to find are straight on the Drawpile website
