By tranny I don't mean everyone is a literal transgender but I mean anyone who is into lgbt or diversity media. Usually on first days for every semester, our professor will ask people what they hope to draw professionally for and almost everyone in the class said they want to draw pro because they want to make more lgbt and poc representation.

This place is a shithole since covid when they kicked out their good instructors like Will Weston due to the most retarded reasons from a "BIPOC" anonymous group instagram complaining about dumb shit like models being attractive or teacher touching your shoulder or correcting your drawing.

An easy answer is to say they want to draw comics, children's books, work at disney, or want to draw concept art, these are all completely safe and broad answers. It's easier to say you want to work at disney without feeling the need to say you want to work at disney to include more lgbt. From listening in on their loud conversations in the classroom, I'm being honest when I say most of these people are obsessed with identity politics and the patriarchy. Not everyone is a fanatic but these people tend to control all the friend groups and cliques while the more normal people just go along with whatever they say. I do not want friends who will throw me under the bus because some tranny says she dislikes me because I'm not interested in speaking up for lgbt or poc rights even if I am not very offensive as a person.

I took Syn design digital art and perspective courses. For 800 bucks I learned that I knew a lot more that I realized. For me learning by copying the classics and just drawing more (all day, every day) is what made me improve. This year I have spent mostly drawing digitally. Copy the classics and study how they do their stuff and just be confident and just DRAW. Draw a lot. Draw stuff that you don't want to draw and excape your comfort zone. That's it. don't enroll in BS courses.
