What fundamentals do I need for simple muh cartoons?

I am a musician and writers so some artsy ideas are not a problem to me, I already have a style and know what I want to do and how to do it, but I don't know the fundamentals of drawing
BUT, through thinking it I found that to draw simplistic twee sketch I will probably not need fancy anatomy or deep 4 point perspective

So that being said, given that I have a good grasp of general art and a style already, what are the fundamentals that I need for simplistic le internet comic maymays draws?

Just perspective and construction?

Style aside, subject matter, brush work aside, technique, programs aside, lightning aside

Just simple twee punk drawings, what do I need?

I know I will have to find inspirations, and take a lot of references and draw a lot and all that shit, just tell me what fundamental I need to draw cute paint 5 year older horny kindergarder drawings.

Thanks

THANKS, It's just what i needed

I just want to draw on a twee style, and I know what I like pretty well from writting and music, so style and aesthetics are not a problem for me, it's just that I didn't know where to begin to draw from imagination and to stop just copying

"twee style" is literally just shit artists put out for the lolz or want to take a breather

or it's made by permabegs who can't draw/are too lazy to commit any amount of effort to a piece

the approach that i see to work more is to start on what you want to learn first, ignoring the correctness of your drawing. if you like scenery, start by doing that and learning the fundamentals of construction and perspective, if you like drawing people start by learning figure drawing up until you learn the basics to create a believable human being, and after that you study the basic shapes and perspective to make them accurate

seeing that you aim for that kind of comic, just learn some basic figure drawing until you are satisfied with your work. it may be good to study some scenery perspective also, as they are used in comics a lot

Thanks, I will check that out

Seeing, that I am going more for a rather simplistic style (just drawing for fun) what would you recommend for rather simple but consistent figure drawing construction?
I am gonna play more with fucked up and lazy perspective, but inside of that i want the figure to be consistent withing the shitty perspective if you get what I mean
Think of OP, really, with lazier perspective

from what i gathered talking to people, drawing the very basics of what you like first tend to make you keep drawing for longer periods of time, as you wouldn't really keep the work if you start grinding and drawing hundreds of boxes before knowing the real value of that

you may even know the importance and succeed by doing that hard work, and despite being "slower" (debatable) doing what you like for fun first, you have a bigger chance of mantaining your studies and enjoying it a lot more

you must first learn to do it right before doing it purposefully wrong, so it's always good to learn how to do the basic human shape. your medium can be whatever the one that works, some youtube beginner videos teaching you how to build it. there are lots of them, but i prefer to follow books so i don't know many useful ones, even that people recommend proko a lot

but following books, you can't go wrong following the instructions of loomis or vilppu. figure drawing by loomis is the first one i used as guidelines and i like it a lot, but fun with a pencil may be exactly what you need. it's really straight to the point and aimed more towards an younger audience, as it takes a more cartoonish approach. both of them have links for the books at the sticky thread
