I just went through Proko head videos and man what a shitty course, he just flies through the content, barely has any examples, 1 per feature and some rough head angles, and at the premium section he expects you to draw those professionals portraits along with him???

Which one is this courses is the most recommended for beginner friendly course and which one is good to follow after I had the beginner Basics one? Am I missing any good content on drawing the Head on my list?

Yea, this is a shitty move from the creator of this website. I bought once a premium for a month but downloading multiple links is so annoying...

What I did to speed things up is I have installed an extension to my Opera which allows me to open the links massively (no idea how to say it in English). I just hold a Z letter on my keyboard and mark down the links all of them) and I'm logged in https://mediafile.cc so those links are visible in the premium panel and just click download. It's not a solution, but just a slight acceleration. That's the extension: https://addons.opera.com/pl/extensions/details/v7-drag/

Speaking of acceleration. There is a website https://rapids.pl where you can accelerate rapidgator, nitroflare and many more. Paid, but IMO worth it, especially if you have Nitroflare multiple links or Rapidgator. I use it especially for books from https://avxhm.se because they are using Icerbox to host files, which is quite expensive.

500GB cost around $24 but of course, there are smaller transfer amounts (screenshot). It's legit. I wonder if is there anything similar in the "English-speaking" internet.

I'm used to the fact that most people that "teach how to draw anime" are shit, most people at udemy/skillshare hurt my eyes just to see them, they should be sued for asking money for their crap. At least youtube it's free, quality of most of them is crappy too though, the best ones I could find where REIQ and Mikeymegamega, not as good as some of the teachers in Coloso in art, but not unsightful as most shit out there and they do try to teach quite a variety of content.

As you said, the best teaching is from NMA os Schoolism (let me add CGMA and Watts atelier too though) but sometimes I'd like to see someone applying those same concepts at ainme style in a competent way and I've been very unlucky trying to find that. I enjoy seeing demonstrations of Murata, Boichi and Kentaro Yabuki in youtube but it's still not an easy thing to apply anime style correctly from a few of their examples.

I've been trying to watch anime tutorials in jaánese lately from Mangamaterials, Pin2d, Saito, Houtengeki and Minimaru comic but a lot of the content isn't subtitled yet.

What other stuff is there available for anime? My ideal would be ecchi art to paint like Houtengeki, or do the "interesting" camera angles That Kentaro Yabuki did at To LOVE-Ru Darkness.......

i do get your point, it's the "transfer" process from point a (realism) to b (simplified anime manga ish) that is a bit hard to get at first.
it depends on each individual + their skill, but maybe one of the things you can do is apply the "master study" method but with anime shit.
analyze what you actually like abt their work, their cons and pros etc etc.
then:
make multiple copies 1:1 with their art; try to be in their shoes will certainly help you understand why they're making this and that decision in the process.
then draw something you like, in your style, then try to apply the things that you've learned in the master studies in your drawing.

idk i tried doing leyendecker render style + color choice; with my weeb shit and it looks funky, but in a good way.

i wrote all of these above, is bc one thing: of course, the best way to learn how one's actually do something, is to learn from them, actually being there and let them lecture you 1-on-1. And unless you have a huge ass amount of money to spare, it's inpossible to get into contact and try to persuade them to get you under their wings.

That's why the other anon talked about getting a different perspective when watching a Korean, or Japanese artist drawing.

They do learn realism too, some of them even talk about Vilppu, Loomis, and Jack Hamm, but they have their "quirks" that western artist don't get it even if they do master studies, which is why it's a good idea to consume both top tier stuff, and niche stuff like Coloso, and shit like that if your goal is animu, and mangoes.

I bought okku and a couple other courses from coloso actually, there isn't really a way for normies like us to rip it off the website like the anons that ripped mogoon and chyan. Atleast we have theorized that all coloso leaks ever has been done by the same person, (no project files, perfect video cut, original file quality, clean rip). And that person said they bought it, ripped it, and refunded it. once you open the course there is no refunds...

Rinotuna and okku won't immediately get leaked I assume because of that reason. unless its screen recorded which contains uid and no one wants to do that.

Besides i will tell you right now, okku is fucking shit at teaching, barely any examples given, its a do this do that follow my workflow course, most value you're getting is if you have a decent enough skillset and you want to learn an efficient workflow.

Chyan teaches a bit about character silhouettes but class101 has some way better courses for learning character design imo.

In the end even if you get these coloso courses, you won't learn how to design without actually designing a lot.

I am not sure but I think in a normal situation on Torrent sites like CGPears you can't download torrent's just like that. You need to seed as much as possible to get a bigger ratio (more uploads than downloads). Because there is a required minimum ratio to be able to download at all. In a normal situation. Because on CGP all files you download are marked as FREELEECH so bounty does not make sense at all. You do not need an additional GB of data to be able to download from CGP. On a normal torrent bounty is a kind of extra data to be able to download more torrents.

I 've always screen recorded Eo58 since his vods get wiped and there's no possible way to rip. But, would it be possible to just use OBS on the rinotuna course?

I might add, I've never had coloso so I don't even know how it even works but there's no shot it just blocks off OBS when it's not even a downloader.

I'm mostly suggesting this towards the people that claim to have it since I don't intend to spend $200 on the rinotuna course and at that point I could just watch it for myself.
