AI art is just gonna drive down the prices of digital art (especially comissioned porn) because anyone will be able to do it, but will also rise the prices of traditional art, since few people will know how to paint or draw.

Doesn't make any sense. All the jobless artists will just fill all the areas that can generate money. Learning traditional tools is easy compared to learning how to draw and paint. All art is going to get cheaper and commissions are going to die in certain quality ranges. Though it honestly was retarded to begin with what kind of shit tier art could make money.

>> No.6276954

All it is going to do is further segment the market into one concentrated on human makers, which will be more luxurious than AI-made mass-produced kitsch, and add a bunch of roles around wrangling AI outputs. Every technology introduced so far has done so.

Ban AI threads.

>> No.6276957

And that segment will be filled with indians and chinese that just edit and touch up ai art to make it look natural.

I'm tired of AI dooming, I'm going to keep drawing and getting better regardless of how good a computer gets at it. I'm still going to try to make money off it because I'm convinced people will like it.
Things like Patreon operate more like a "tip jar" anyway, you don't give artists money because you have to, you do it because you want to. This same model applies to streamers too.

It's good that introvert retards get their dreams shattered of making a living of sitting at their asses at home, never needing to face a real person. Maybe some of you now will get out a little bit and try to live. Art without the need to earn money eventually from it is much better anyway.

Nah, now there'll be fewer people getting into the game, you can raise your prices as the supply dries up... Assuming you stick around. Just say it's Bespoke art or something to attract the rich idiots out there.

>>6276995
I honestly think third worlders are gonna be hit hardest by this. Many (maybe not you) shit out low quality works quickly to keep their prices down, but don't have the talent to make work worthy of a higher price. We'll see how it goes.

You can just get a projector, generate a.i. art and then project it onto a canvas and paint over it.
Still need some basic brush skill and know how to handle the medium but this is basically how people have been working in traditional for decades (and even before that with camera obscura etc) but now with a.i. no one can ever find your ref

So previously resolution was the issue. I generated the image with AI, used another AI to upscale it and third one to make image clear and high contrast. I can upscale and clear out this image indefinetly .Problem solved.

Lookup on YouTube "Humans need not apply".
The industrial revolution displaced people in that it removed them from jobs, but also gave them new ones. The machines needed handling and were designed as tools to help people make better things.

This time its different. The machines are designed to replace humans. And whatever a human can do, a machine will simply learn to do it better.
If its a task with a right and wrong answer, the ai will simply learn how to discern boh.

Most artists are mad at the AI generated shit because it asks the question "what is good art?" Or, in more modern terms, "What's soulful?"
