Looking for some feedback if possible. Doing some color thumbnails so I can figure out the mood I want for this piece. The theme I'm going for is the "end of summer." It's my favorite part of the season, and I think there's a variety of ways to interpret the inbetween period of summer and fall. I want this to be a "tranquil" scene, with the twilight sky bringing a close to the day. Typically we associate the harvest season with death, but I want to associate it with life, so I'm thinking about having autumn leaves in the piece around my shota figure, with light bouncing off him. Any other ideas or suggestions are welcome!

Go through anatomy books and do copies/studies. Morpho and anatomy for sculptors are my go-to.
It's not an overnight progress. Every now and then you'd have to go back to the same pages in order for the info to stick
