Definitely not Sakura Microns, but I do appreciate how easily available they are. For fine point pens, I prefer Copic and Pentel's pens. Copic gives nicer results but their nibs are made of glass I swear. Pentel is far sturdier. For brush pens, I like Tombow's Fudenosuke pen.

>Tombow's Fudenosuke
I bought one recently, been playing a bit with it (more specifically, the hard tip with black pigmented ink; I've also got the double tip gray/black, but its ink is not permanent/waterproof. Can confirm that the former is waterproof).

So far it's quite good; I particularly enjoy that it can draw very thin lines when hold vertically.

8/10, would recommend.

An issue with microns .005/.003 (same thing with other brands) is that there seems to be some ink flow issue after just a little bit of usage. I've also had the tip going back into the barel, and I'm far from pushing hard, making the pens barely usable.

I like Faber-Castell Pitt pens, been using them for decades, well 2 decades, the ink isn't as dark now anymore but I just syringe them with real india ink and it's dark again. Haven't tried a pen with a nicer tip as the Pitt's.
