You know that photography actually killed most artists when it came out right? Same will happen with the AI, most art produced today can be done better and faster with a computer.
Super elite art will remain, same as with photography, but you can be sure that day to day ilustrations that people consumes everyday will be done with AI.

AI will probably purge people who draw fanart first and foremost, since AI can only effectively photobash ideas and concepts that it has been trained on
AI could also sort of replace lots of abstract art, but only from a buyer's perspective, since the beholder is unlikely to be able to differentiate abstract shit coming from a person from abstract shit coming from an AI.

producing truly unique works that have purpose behind them is still something AI isn't even hinting at being capable of
