I was trying to make it look like it was going forward, any tips on how to show that perspective?

There are lots of issues here, more specifically the shoulders are dislocated or non-existent, the face is flat, you're not using any kind of construction which makes the entire drawing look flat, the proportions of the arms are off (your forearms are tiny), the volume of the shorts make no sense (they're floating), the breasts aren't attached quite right and the shading is a bit too extreme considering how big they are, the boots are flat and lack any kind of structure plus one of them is bigger than the other. Draw from reference and learn construction and proportions.
