Yeah I'm starting to worry about my wrist pain now. I'll push through it if it gets worse because art is the only thing I'm good at

Unironically the biggest problem barring motivation. Drawing 12 hrs a day is risky.

I have to take two or three day breaks to let my tendons heal. Tried to draw with left hand, but its only good enough to do shit like paint. No line stuff. Sucks. Life is pain.

To anyone having trouble, get a wireless mouse and start using your phone with your left hand only, these two things make a ton of difference.

>wrist started to hurt a year ago
>implemented a ton of exercises and lifestyle changes to fix it including getting a wireless mouse
>pain free for months now
>decide to go back to a wired mouse since I assumed the problem was fixed and I got tired of replacing batteries
>week into using a wired mouse and wrist starts to hurt again
>go back to wireless, stops hurting after two days

Doods I've made it and the wrist / forearm pain never goes away. You just need to manage it. I have to work 6 - 12 hours everyday.

Some tips I have:
- Do forearms exercises and be physically active in general
- Massage the tendons at the inside of the elbows and your rear delts. Some nerves get cramped there

The best solution to this is to go to /fit/ and actually take care of your body.

Are you ambidexterous(sp)? Because then isn't it just your left hand doing everything? Lol

I want to learn to use both though, for this reason

If you're going to give bad advice, don't nose-type at all.

Fluid, organic curves can only be achieved by drawing with your hip. For that, you have to be standing, not sitting and stifling your own range.

Learn from the Asian masters.

I learned how to draw correctly and the pain stayed, then I learned how to draw with my left hand and only drew correctly and the pain quickly showed up there too anyway, turned out I have an autoimmune disease that makes my joints prone to injury

Is painting with your mouth a viable way of building neck mass? I hate doing neck bridges but I have a toothpick neck. This seems like a good way to get good at art and build a chad neck at the same time.
